I'm sure that warning was always there and I just never noticed it before.
Thanks for the reassurance Marc

Re: Fragments of You & a Glass of Pinot (11:38 pm)
Very cliched opening S.
Then the middle stanzas make amends in spades.
Final S unfortunately drops back to cliche.
Love S4.

Re: Site Update
Thanks CP,
Should we be concerned about the 'Not secure' site exclamation?
And yes Tracy...I found a way to find my way back

Has Idyllwild been badly affected? I remember your poem, and googling photos of it...beautiful place.

Re: I'd Like to Ask You A Question
Hi indar, Knowing a little of your circumstances makes this even more poignant...you haven't just lost (I'm still hoping not) a house. (And I hope all your neighbours are safe) You obviously invested part of yourself in your home. It is, for the most part, prose. Usually not a good thing, but it ad...

Liking this Tim.
But it reads like a first draft; something you had to 'put down'.

Re: Paradise
Don't see why you'd lose S1. S1 and S2 build towards the real tragedy in S3. That 'build' felt like the approaching fire. Loss of life aside, when I heard about the amount of homes lost I thought about all those personal/irreplaceable items. So S3, especially the first half really resonated. 'Fed b...

Re: Autumn
Thanks to all for reading. I naturally choose calm days to remove leaves. I have a reasonably small garden with a large raised deck that has three big trees growing through it. One, now a proud 40', was a tiny sapling growing in less than a handful of nothing more than dust in a damaged section of t...

Autumn
I don't know if leaves and wind do what they do to frustrate me. I think they're subtle hints. Swept up in labours, only to wake and repeat. Neat piles, created in calm, then spread back before I have a chance. My lawn, pretty in green prettier with golden litter. One day I'll stop, and when they'r...

Late again here, but I keep returning to that image...even the moon is using its gravity to pull him back!
Powerful.
I'll be back.
