Re: Red Sled

I so liked the sound of "script" in context I have been trying to think of ways you could keep it. The act of writing a script could indicate the story of her descent down the hill. Could "scripting" be used as a verb?

Re: The Art of Ghosting

Start at the end. Begin where the mess smells, work backward in large strokes. Put your elbow into it. Decrease, recede. Pull color into bristles once again, soak the ocher, umber of the last text bitter into turpentine. Scrub, repeat. Aspirate the last kiss, swirling red, don't watch. Spin your vin...

Re: I Love the Village People

Thank you so much for your kind words Sharon.

Marc--obviously you didn't hear YMCA enough or you would now experience a Pavlovian response --picking up your feet and flailing your arms with wild and wonderful abandon.

Thanks for your read and comments

Re: God, Save Me from Poetry

I'm not certain what the examples of things the N wants to be saved from refer to but no matter. I like this very much just because.

I Love the Village People

I Love The Village People live in a senior community, we dance in the party room until 6pm to 70s disco music, I can do the chorography to YMCA and shake my ass to Love Train. I'd skip the pot luck and dance till 9 but everyone else wants time to discuss Delta Dental and Medicare plans. What can I d...

A thin circle of light, A light ring of gold, like an eye, empty. Follow its smoothness with your index Can't add much to the comments already made but wonder if "like an eye, empty" suggests that all eyes are empty sort of zombie-like. Might read better as an "empty eye". This particular eye is vac...

Re: Bugged

Is it OK to cry over a poem about a bug? The only saving thought is that they don't have much of a frontal lobe. Good tell--the mention of the foam core as white as a lab coat. The dry eye of scientific observation. There are so many ways life on this planet (including human) becomes the subject of ...

Re: We are Something

Do bad guys love their children? Who's faces do they see from the balcony ---- Whose as they pull and pull and pull the trigger or make the calls that send in drones? I saw a Syrian girl in Greece. She learned English from the TV— Day of our Lives --- Days Was she on the same boats as a shooter? ---...
