But you do it so well, so don't stop now.
Enjoyed, as always.

Re: Two bedrooms and a bath

An enjoyable read. Nice writing. Engaging. Gentle. The prosaic writ profound.
Just something about that second last line that doesn't read right to me.

Re: starting handle

I enjoyed the read and its original topic. I like the way the humanity of the characters blends with the mechanical aspects. It is longish and a story, so it is written in more of a narrative style which is fine - I did find this passage to be the most poetic,  We were caught between the elements, t...

Re: Save the Horses

Quirky stuff. I'm imagining a Confederate general. Can he be separated from his horse? In Camden, England, there's a statue still standing of a despotic monarch who was responsible for ending over one million black lives in South Africa by warfare, violence, starvation etc. in the 1800s. That one sh...

Re: When Eve flipped the tarot

An enjoyable read with a good twist that adds authenticity. Tarot is an interesting exercise in random and fate.

Re: Gone

Thanks for the re-visit, Linda. Nope, no revision....  Interesting observation about the placement of the, er, flashback signboard, let's call it. It's a tad awkward but has to be somewhere... will think your good suggestion over, thank you again.

Re: Gone

Thanks for your comments, Tim, and my apologies for the belated response. I'm glad you enjoyed the write, I sometimes wonder about these longer pieces as there seems to be an inverse relationship between poetic-element density and length, for this amateur anyway. Interesting observation about the te...

Re: .

These last two posts were deleted by murmac but I have restored them to complete the narrative for when Ty and Colm return. It seems murmac has decided to reject in advance whatever compromise the site might offer him, by either deleting his posts or editing them down to a dot. indar will confirm if...

Re: Reflection on Father's day

Dave said it well. I've read this several times and despite the geographical, cultural and familial divide can easily find myself there, a survivor, talking about mice and rock legends.

Re: Holy Synchronicity

FFS, there is no special moderators' view of the boards. How many times do I have to say this? All the mods have is a toolbox that allows certain extra actions in terms of moderating work, that's all. If the two items were not on the board, how is it that the log shows me deleting them from the boar...
