I agree that it would be great to see each thread perhaps in chapbooks. I have been working on a chapbook for years, but I am always so busy with various poetry and writing groups as well as free-lance editing, that I have had to put my own work to the side. One of these days.....

Soggy earth springs back
as I saunter among buds
of tightly furled ferns.

Marshland lies posed to break forth
into gay, riotous bloom.

Indar's poem reminded that I had written two similar poems about the elderly, so I dug one out to share. The older I get, the more I DO think about what standard of care I will receive. And, maybe we will be relieved of the dread by a sudden death. We can only hope.
