Re: I'd Like to Ask You A Question
I read this one aloud at a poetry meet-up and a woman in attendance got tears in her eyes. I'm not certain if that's really how I would describe my writing but I do know Amie said it is some...

Re: He Who Knows
But the best part - or my favourite line - is the last one. Brilliant. Didn't see that one coming.
Thanks for bringing that up Dan---I wondered if "born in a barn" is an expression that has been lost in the dust of time or something---good to see you here as well.

Re: He Who Knows
a parallel to the long rants the Speaker absorbs from this intellectualizing douche nozzle.
Now that I stopped laughing I suggest you write a poem that contains the above phrase---its too good to just lay around as a thread comment.

Re: He Who Knows
Does anyone fully understand Heidegger? People who claim they do would make good "-ex's" I would think.

Good to see you back here commenting T., I hope all is well. The answer is---absolutist train wreck--despite lip service to Heidegger. Intent of poem was to entertain. Thanks for the read and feedback

Re: He Who Knows
The piece sustained my interest Indar. There was a surface fun to the poem. Of course, the underlying reality of this chaotic world is scary.
Thanks for the read and comments Phil You nailed my ambivilous feelings toward the subject of this one

Re: He Who Knows
Do they still make professors like that? Enjoyed the read, the piece is prosy but rhythmic.
That was no professor that was my ex-husband
I will die prosy I guess---its a very old write--one that amuses me at least---thanks Mark

Re: loose clockwork
Oh one other thing it took me a few reads to get the last couple of lines---I think it would be helpful to the reader if there was a bit more of a hint---"lemons to lemonade: ski in the snow.

Re: Classroom (revised)
Hi Phil--
I was so in love with the first version I may be biased---I liked the ambiguity. There was enough there to feel I was safe in my assumptions about the meaning at the end but had the fun of imagining what that old teacher was doing.
