Thanks for checking it out and giving it some thought, Dave and Tim! I'll pass on what you said

Re: Love's Eclipse
Hi linda, Thanks for reading and mulling it over! Not so much a real eclipse as something/someone thats beautiful for a bit, but then hurts. The neanderthals were smart enough to look away. I assume we become as Neanderthals despite the scientific explanation in the presence of a phenomenon so spec...

This is Not about God and If You Think it is You are Weak and Have a Peanut Brain
(this is a friend who wanted feedback's piece-title and all) I’ve always thought my life did not begin when I was born. Reality may be unverifiable, objective truth might be malleable. I was told the name I’d call on my deathbed, I call that name every night. And I don’t believe anymore. Death is d...

Re: Time
Hi Colm, This one seems like it might be too internal for the reader to truly grasp but I think that's OK. For the first stanza I prefer "I walk on fragments. The pavement shifts, Sometimes." My edit might not align with your intention though. Also, I like the line "unsettled by its indecision" this...

Re: pressed between the leaves
Hey Dave, First off, sorry if you're going through or something has happened recently. I like the question in the middle, personally. Since their voice is gone its as if the question is directed at N's self as a bit of introspection. The lines "you long since lost a taste for this nonsense. " and "P...

Re: Love's Eclipse
Hi Wren, I don't think I've seen you around yet, but I look forward to reading what ya've got. Thanks for taking a look at this. Getting rid of the passive voice is a good idea, I didn't even notice that I used it. I see what you mean about "sweep them" vs "sweep the onlookers" but the timing of "s...

Re: Love's Eclipse
Colm, Thanks for the read and I'm glad you like it. The title does come off sort of stale to me as well, but I felt like the obscurity of the piece needed me to point the readers in a certain direction (i imagine theres a more eloquent way to do that). Are you referring to the Apollo and 'of spectat...

Re: Love's Eclipse
Tim, You mentioned that you're disinterested in the cosmological aspect of this as a philosophical allusion (well, that's what I took from what you said) but the whole bit is a sort of spectral veneer, that aspect isn't meant to be delved into too much. I am a little confused of the facts that you'...

Re: Thorns
Hey Phil, Right off the bat, I'm intrigued by the title- definitely alludes to multiple meanings. I agree that this a cool new style for you, regardless of whether an experiment goes how you predict, you learn new things. I'm not sure what is trying to be emphasized by N in each line, but some of th...

Hey Matty,
You're absolutely spot on about N, and I appreciate your response.
