Children Of The Universe
We don't know from where they came
We can't even pronounce their names
They don't even look the same
They're coming for me and you
It's always the same refrain
It's happening all over again
We need someone else to blame
Asian, Arab, African and Jew
We're concerned about our town
Our way of life, our sacred ground
We don't want them around
Yellow, Black and shades of Brown
They can't hide, they will be found
They can never escape the hound
We wave the flag, and gather round
And hand the crown to a hateful clown
Many folk voted to fan the flame
Thought they'd finally come in out of the rain
While the new old boys firm up their reign
Angling only for personal gain
More changes, but it stays the same
When we resist it's always in vain
Can't we see they're playing a game
Pointing fingers, laying the blame
Can't we see that we're all the same
We're all Children of the Universe
We're all stardust from an angel's purse
We all love our kids, last to the first
Stay as a family, not be dispersed
We're all Children of the Universe
Freedom and Justice our insatiable thirst
Can't get nowhere stuck in reverse
Need to remove this hateful curse
We're all Children of the Universe
No one's better and no one's worse
Love each other as written in Verse
We're all Children of the Universe
