wow, all this time i was writing, if only i knew a place like this existed. Now i do though! incredible. My names sam, and I look forward to putting my words into the wind and getting them blown in my face! It's a pleasure to be here and am eager to read your honest work.

i appreciate the welcoming!
really just started writing maybe 6 months ago. I never considered myself to be good at writing, but I was in this senior home class in college a couple years back and my professor told me privately she thought i was very good. I'd never heard anybody say i was a good writer before then and i'm now just starting to believe maybe I'm ok. I look forward to using your platform I already enjoy this forum!

i hope you stay around long enough to learn for yourself that we are all 'learning' to write, each of us at different levels. We try to give honest feedback to other writers, and be gracious about receiving honest feedback.
There are some talented folks here -- I hope you settle in.
