I wondered if I might
post more on the site
so people said Hey -
that’s enough for today.
so people said Wait -
Just take it easy mate.
so people said Damn -
is that a bloke or spam?

But I don’t write enough
so I don’t have much stuff.
In truth I’m not that eager,
my output fairly meagre.
It might just depend
if I’m at a loose end.


But with radical solutions
I could harvest contributions.
Workers I’d enrol -
all under my control.
I’d comb the poorest nations
to man my operations.
My dark imagination shows
industrial scenarios -
a poet-slave production line,
my legal boundaries - borderline,
You there lad! - a witty quip
or taste the overseers whip.
Pages upon pages
for pitiable wages.
I’d build a reputation
for ruthless exploitation -
my domination tightening
my output targets frightening,
my rising empire spreading far,
my laugh - an evil Mwahaha!


But for now..  it’s just me,
a nice cup of tea,
and a Hob Nob or two
when I’ve nowt else to do.
