crimes continue
even during this

Racial hate crimes continue even during this Corona pandemic. 
It's a terrible reality. But IMHO it isn't really a poem.

When it's written without line breaks it reads like a sentence, a piece of prose.
Maybe other people will disagree.
Anywho, it's just my opinion.

Hey
I see exactly what Colm is getting at: this is basically not only prose but is just a straightforward statement. It tells us something but does not show. IN other words, whether poem or not, it offers too little to really do more than a piece of journalism. Interestingly, if posted as art in an art gallery, its location would automatically changes its significance even if it did not alter its quality as art.
