The Tangled Branch Discussion Forums

It is a long journey,
from the birth of this path
among playful daisies.                                                                                                                                                   
Time upon time                                                                                                                                    I  discovered daffodils,                                                                                                                          heads pointed at new horizons.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
I have gathered heather                                                                                                                    bedded protectively round                                                                                                                    a single tree in a wide open plain                                                                                                         

and singing an ancient song 
walked on.                                                                                                                                             
I have admired peonies and roses                                                                                                          numerous other delicate blooms                                                                                                            whose names I don’t recall.

Over time the earth                                                                                                                              beneath my feet
folds into imagined by-ways

traced along coastlines
teetering on cliffs just one step
from a flat endless ocean of mirrors.

            I read a life journey from child to age and the flowers representing life encounters.
