Hi indar,

'It probably didn't rise to frank's consciousness that the eye contact with the hawk represented a test of wills in which Frank prevailed. And that is why he projected the valor, defiance on a worthy opponent.'

I'm still not getting this, I think because the hawk is just another trophy.
And after taking two shotgun cartridges there probably wouldn't be much left to stuff.
I believe there are squirrel 'hunters' WTF, these hunters are bad-ass
If it was mine I'd finish with something more honest and humiliating like:

Gunning the engine on the way to the taxidermist
pleased with his haul, in the rear view mirror
the hunting ground's distraction wide angled out
leaving only a Zorro mask of his face
and underneath, the chromed plastic badge dangled a declaration
''Duck Hunter...and Dangerous!'

Anywho, I'm enjoying the engagement.

Thanks T,

BTW I think you are right---the kind of hunter I'm portraying would not be out there by himself.

Thanks Colm:

Anywho, I'm enjoying the engagement.

What else is the stuff we write about?
