Four lines and twenty words
raked into a poem.
I abhor this lack of order -
just how many letters then?

Cepian labors gave life to the quatro,
though hardly invented by Shorty.
He thought it sublime, coupled with macho
To tweet out in clumps of one-forty.    
 

Forceful but easy, I drop
pressure hurts lungs and ears,
how deep is too deep?
Death, a bad decision away.
 


 

Three times a day doctors visit,
offer no names.
Each sports an opague smile
says someone else will tell you.

Jostle the Table Enough

someone'll say so many plates
shouldn't be empty,
where's the bran and brown?
Then white bread ain't gonna be enough. 

 

Under Glass

At the near table, the man cuts through
eggs & toast; he is discussing his need
for cotton sheets. The woman spoons
salsa, replies Indian cotton is best.

Further back, table 13,
a balding man raises his eyes
"My brand new Audi deserves the very best...
Egyptian cotton!".
