Virus checking

Post by Dylan di Vilde » Tue Mar 10, 2020 2:52 am

It seems that we soon might be taken to task
if we’re not conscientiously wearing a mask.
With wrongdoers facing a travelling ban
or carted away by an ambulance man.
Avoiding the panicky public demand
I luckily already have one to hand.

It’s the type that you don when you hear the approach
of the London to Shrewsbury passenger coach,
you force them to stand and deliver of course
then make your escape on a thoroughbred horse
and nobody sees through your cunning disguise -
the mask which so craftily covers your eyes.

And wearing this elegant form of protection
I’ll wander around with no fear of infection,
I’ll breeze through the thoroughfares healthy and free
with no-one attempting to quarantine me.
A cautious and dutiful fellow they’ll say,
whoever he is, he can pass on his way.

Though it’s not recommended perhaps if you are a
man who’s just stolen a diamond tiara.

"Though it’s not recommended perhaps if you are aman who’s just stolen a diamond tiara."Like no one needs a mask, except to rob?  Or it's a perfect time to rob?
