Hi there Wordsmiths

Post by Bev » Sun Jan 21, 2018 5:33 am

My name is Bev. I'm currently living in Hanoi, Vietnam, teaching English. I have lived in several Asian countries, doing this over the years. I have often been inspired by my experiences and scribbled a poem here and there but haven't felt they were worthy of sharing.  So, I've joined this space to read poetry and to learn by doing. A mentor once said to me : "Just show up!" "And so what, if you don't do it perfectly...it's better than not showing up at all!"

Hi Bev,

I am jealous of your opportunities for adventure in Asia. You must have a thousand stories.

That's a wise mentor you quote.   :)

Welcome.

Welcome Bev! We're glad you've found us!

Do feel free to share; we're all here to learn (& hopefully have a good time while at it) 😁

When you get a chance, you may want to stop by the Welcome board. There you will find a wealth of information to help familiarize yourself with the site, such as a quick tour of the site, Tangled Branch rules & etiquette, where and how to post your poems and the like.

If you have any questions or concerns, don't be afraid to contact a Moderator (we're the ones in green) ;)

Looking forward to reading you! See you around the boards...

Best,
Sharon
