This is an interesting take on the Emerald Isle, not the usual blarney.
I think there are many factors in our disappointments with Ireland's realty, time and distance for sure
and whether you visited the countryside or the cities. The same could be said of England and the U.K. in general.
Yet if you look for the magic its all still there.
I liked this write for its unusual point of view.

Reminds me indeed of one of the reasons why I left. Rain is just bigger in Ireland the light so grey. Sadly I ended up in wet dark Hamburg
