Cool poem. Metaphysics, metaphor and mud. God is the shelter from the storm and the Bad Guy is what, like rust? 

hmmmmm...can't really say, Mark. I do use simile(s). I don't mention mud or a storm, or even a Bad Guy. Certainly no rust. Although I can't say you're wrong if that's what you got out of this.
